DISCLOSURE - The Webmaster for this site is relocating from the Santa Rosa Valley into Camarillo. The Web Pages and BLOG will remain available as long as they serve a purpose. Thank you to the many residents, neighbors, and good friends who have supported this project for so many years.

The Website is being revised due to a significant reduction in the number of users. Organizations that do not keep their information current have been removed. Material on the Santa Rosa Valley Emergency Radio Network (SRV-ERN) has been removed since the program is being revised. The BLOG remains the most active part of the site.

The BLOG continues to be the place where important events and news stories are posted first. RSS syndication is available so you can have important posts sent directly to your mail reader. Be sure to check it out.

New Year update and check of all links. BLOG moved to top of Menu reflecting the important communications role it now serves in the Valley.

November 8, 2009
Several major changes are being made to the services provided in conjunction with the Santa Rosa Valley Information Website. The BLOG service added in March is replacing the SRV-L Interactive eMail Reflector. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Coordinator has created a presence on FACEBOOK.COM and both the SRV-CERT Reflector and the CERT page on this site are being deleted. The Santa Rosa Valley - Emergency Radio Network (SRV-ERN) is being opened up to all of the residents and businesses in the Valley and a new entry has been added to the ORGANIZATIONS page.

A Web Log or BLOG service has been added to the Website. The BLOG pick has been added near the bottom of the Menu Frame. The initial use of the BLOG will be to discuss the new Traffic Signals installed on Santa Rosa Road during February.

October 1, 2008
A page has been added to describe the Santa Rosa Valley "Hams" group that is championing development of a Valley-wide radio communications capability in conjunction with the CERT. The "Hams" Webpage is accessable from the ORGANIZATIONS page.

Efforts in support of the CERT Webpage and CERT Reflector have been resumed. The "official" CERT Website has not been developed yet and the effort to communicate with CER Team members will be supported here as long as it serves a meaningful purpose. The CERT Webpage is accessable from the ORGANIZATIONS page.

It is important to note that the Notice regarding the Nomination Period for the Santa Rosa Valley Municipal Advisory Council Election to be held in November has been released. See under Important News.

Efforts in support of the CERT Webpage and CERT Reflector have been suspended. The CERT Coordinator has indicated that the Team will be developing it's own Website in the near future.

The Santa Rosa Road Signalization Project contractor has responded to the community's comments on their "65% Submittal" delivered in June. Their response (in PDF format) is available on the Project Website mentioned below and at THIS LINK.

Minutes for the SRV Municipal Advisory Council have been added to the Council page. The minutes are not released until after they have been approved by the MAC and submitted to the County Supervisor's office. They will be posted here each month as soon as they are available.

Information on the SRV Municipal Advisory Council has been added to the Organizations page. The official site for the Municipal Advisory Council is provided by the County Supervisor's office (see Links of Interest) but is not being maintained. Council Minutes will be added as soon as they can be obtained from the Supervisor's office. (Still unavailable from Supervisor's office as of 2/22/05)
